4.1. NOUNS. SPECIFICS OF NOUNS IN PHARMACEUTICAL TERMINOLOGY
Nouns and adjectives used in pharmaceutical terminology follow the same grammatical rules like any other words in anatomical terminology. They are written in the dictionary into the same way, they declined in the same way. With these words, there is no need to learn any new rules; you just need to remember what you learnt from the anatomy section (see 2.1 and 2.2).
However, there are new parts of speech (verb, numeral) to familiarize yourselves with. There are many special terms that name dosage forms, prescription formulations, states and properties of substances that need to be systematized and memorized.
