The skin is the outer covering of the body and is an important organ responsible for maintaining the body’s homeostasis and protecting it from external influences. Depleting the adaptive capacity of the skin under the influence of factors of the external and internal environment leads to the development of various diseases in it.
Skin diseases may be divided into 2 groups: non-neoplastic diseases, tumors and tumor-like skin lesions. In turn, each of them is divided into subgroups depending on the etiology, pathogenesis or histogenesis of the disease. Various non-neoplastic skin lesions can be both independent diseases or cutaneous manifestations of various somatic diseases, as well as paraneoplastic conditions.
