As a central medical issue health is of enormous social and public significance. Health is of the greatest value for any individual, the basis for economic prosperity of the country and material well-being of its citizens; it is the basis for resilience, resistance and strength of the human body, for its normal life and longevity.
Health and functional reserves of a person directly affect his capacity and productivity, the country's eco-
nomic and defense potential, the society's moral climate and the upbringing of the younger generation. Health reflects the way and quality of life. The most important is the role of health in sports, as there is a close connection of health condition and an adequate integral response to physical load, recovery and the level of stability in sports results. Any health problem worsens the overall working capacity.
Personal health is affected by life quality of each individual and his family as a whole. It is also affected by such factors as heredity, climate and atmospheric fluctuations, birth of children and their health, diseases and disability (invalidization), the way of life and everyday routine, motor activity and eating habits, etc.
