6.1. DATA SUPPORT OF TREATMENT
AND DIAGNOSTIC PROCESS
Traditional methods of influencing the therapeutic and diagnostic process through training, administrative and organisational methods, resources, financing increase its effectiveness but are not able to significantly reduce inaccuracies, errors and inconsistencies in the actions of doctors. A possible solution is not related to the material, moral or administrative stimulation of the doctor as in the informational support. The automation of the treatment and diagnostic process based on data support for the participants and complete formalization of the medical history makes the process manageable at all levels. Requirements to the doctor are practically reduced to compliance with the technology of working with computerized medical records. Requirements for managers are largely reduced to compliance with the detailed technology of operational management.
6.1.1. Treatment and diagnostic process information model. Treatment and diagnostic process as an automation object
Treatment and diagnostic process (TDP) - a technology of informational interaction between decision-makers. It can be described as a combination of three groups of relations:
• attending physician and patient;
• attending physician and medical organisation;
• head physician and medical organisation.
The term «head physician» unites the head physician and his deputies on medical issues. In the second group of relations, a medical organisation is understood to mean all medical professionals in a medical facility who are relevant to the patient (all those who are meant to ensure the work of the attending physician, but who are not subordinate to him). In the third group of relations, a medical organisation is understood as the employees subordinate to the head physician.
