АннотацияThis textbook sets forth the methodology and methods for quantitative and qualitative research of urban behavior relevant to energy efficiency and climate change. Type classification of behavior with respect to climate change is given, the factors influencing development of a particular type of behavior are described. The psychological factors that influence motivation of energy efficient behavior are given special consideration. Also, attention is paid to ensuring sustainable urban development, adaptation of cities to climate change. <br>The textbook contains methodological recommendations for holding lectures and practical classes, choosing assessment forms and teaching aids. Topics are supplemented with questions for knowledge assessment and practical tasks. For each topic, there is an extensive list of literature to study. <br>For students majoring in "Urban Planning", "Construction", "Architecture", "State and Municipal Administration".<br> The textbook is prepared as part of the project BECK (Integrating Education with Consumer Behavior Relevant to Energy Efficiency and Climate Change at the Universities of Russia, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh), funded with support of the European Commission.
