3. In the 1960s, paleontologists discovered a pair of giant arms in Mongolia. The length of each was eight feet. The claws were ten inches long. Paleontologists called the animal Deinocheirus (meaning «terrible hand»), but the body of this animal is a mystery. Some scientists think that it was a huge animal - almost 40 feet long - which lived 70 million years ago.
