Thanks to the progress, of medicine and the active use of advanced technologies, doctors are supposed to look at a computer screen more often than at their patients.
The level of mastering advanced informational technologies is equally important for those involved in medical science.
Today, besides specialized medical programs, doctors often use Microsoft Office or its analogs for record management, preparation, and primary data analysis, as well as statistical software packages for in-depth data analysis. A doctor should be an “advanced user” to use these tools at the required level.
This textbook meets these requirements both in the choice of software tools and the level of their mastering. Specific examples close to medical practice help describe the possibilities of the programs. This edition will be a good substitute for both excessively superficial “self-help books for beginners” and manuals written for specialists with technical education.
